John Cook PDG
Bracknell Forest Lions Club
It is with sadness that 105D Times records the passing to higher service on 11 January of PDG Lion John Cook (DG 105SW 2000/2001).
Lion John was a member of Seaton Lions for many years before transferring with Lion Marcia to Bracknell. With his health declining, eighteen months ago Lion John reluctantly gave up his Lions membership after more than 30 years of distinguished service.

Reg Norton
Crofton Lions Club
I am sad to let you know that I have just found out that Lion Reg Norton, founder of Crofton Lions Club passed away in the early hours of this morning after a long period of illness.
Funeral arrangements, for anyone wanting to pay their respects and remember a truly wonderful gentleman who gave so much:
Thursday 10th January 2019, 3pm at Portchester Crematorium (South Chapel), Upper Cornaway Lane, Portchester, Fareham PO16 8NE
Family flowers only please.
Afterwards at The Crofton Pub, 48 Crofton Lane, Fareham PO14 3QF
Given that for more than 68 years Reg devoted his life to voluntary and charitable work with a wide variety of organisations, it seems only appropriate that, for one final time in his memory, we help contribute to finding a cure for this dreadful disease that Reg fought so stoically and valiantly against for several years.
