DG Chosen Charity
Clive and I decided, when I was Acting District Governor, to have a two-year Charity. Being an ex-teacher children are close to my heart and so we chose Children's Hospices in our District. When I was the first female president of Petersfield Lions back in the LATE 1990s Naomi House was just opening and I chose that as my President's Charity. Fast forward a number of years and as first female District Governor of 105SC it seems fitting to be able to support them as well as the two other hospices.
The three hospices that will benefit are Julia's House, Naomi House and Alexander Devine. Many clubs already support these hospices but as a District it would be wonderful if we could make the lives of the children and their families a bit more special.
Rather than give me a gift if I attend any charters please make a donation instead.
