You have full control and it can be very satisfying to create your own website.
If not:
Use an outside agency
You may be able to persuade a local design company to sponsor your website. However, ensure that you own the domain name and website design.
If that fails:
Use a template based web building system
There are quite a few on the market ranging from free to expensive.
Visit the District website
Take a look at the website competition page on the District website. It has a list of criteria that the judges look for in a good website such as validating against the W3C standards. If your website can 'tick all of the boxes' it will be very successful for your members and community.
